The Making of Alice Palmer & Co Wallpaper

Indian inspired Techniques

Our wallpapers are surface rolled to mimic traditional block printing techniques to give a charming, uneven finish. Our wallpaper factory in the UK houses machines built in 1838 that were pioneered to replicate hand block printing. The surface rolling technique gives our Raj Mustard Stripe Wallpaper its painterly yellow stripes inspired by traditional textiles typically seen in India.

Craftsmanship & Attention to Detail

The paint we use is tailored specifically for our designs and patterns. The colours are tweaked and perfected to bring atmosphere and depth to all of our wallpaper designs.

The Lotus Wallpaper is inspired by Indian Block Printing techniques and is perfect to add colour and pattern to any space. This printing method lends it self well to its painterly fern leaves and poppy red flowers.

Our collection of wallpapers are the perfect addition to any space from a smart sitting room to an attic bedroom. The Palm Grove Wallpaper in our Grasshopper colour way looks very at home in this bedroom.
