THE DIGEST

STEPPING INDOORS

We're getting ready to turn our attention inside and give our spaces a refresh in time for the colder months ahead. This time of year is perfect for bringing more warmth and softness to your space so we're sharing some of our favourite ways to do so.

WARMING ADDITIONS

As we start to spend more time inside, extra warmth can be brought in through paint colours, furniture, and small additions such as lamps and cushions. We love using a vibrant paint in a space that lacks natural light for a warm feel during the day, but really cosy in the evenings year round.

This North facing sitting room, with plenty of reds and yellows, is a rich, warm space for casual hosting and evenings spent on the sofa. Having lighting on multiple layers like our wall lights and larger lamp here, ensures the whole space benefits from the light. Mixing our Red Raj Stripe Cushions and Tangier Red Stripe Linen Lampshade with vintage textiles and lamps creates an eclectic, layered final look.

LAYERING UP

Softening your surroundings with textural layers is a low effort but effective way to add depth. Our Frilly Cushions styled on beds, chairs, sofas, and benches instantly transform any space.

In this chic bedroom, we've maintained the serene, calming style without it feeling cold and bare. Our Callaloo Quilt is subtle in colour and pattern making it so easy to achieve an airy feel in the day and a cosy softness later on. We also adore the diffused glow from a lampshade such as our Calico Lampshade and Ivory Candlestick Lamp Base as the earlier evenings approach.
